"Following up UK act Ruf Dug's captivating debut album 'Island' on Music For Dreams in 2016, which garnered great reviews and attained success worldwide, the label is releasing a a series of remix EPs here entitled Island Remix. The last edition featured inspired remixes from some of the top tracks on the album, by the likes of Peaking Lights, 2814, Al Breadwinner and an ambient instrumental by label head honcho Kenneth Bager. Here, we get undisputed Ibiza legends Leo Mas & Fabrice remix "Thank You Wally" into a balearic tinged acid house era groove, while "Mangrove Dub" (Tropical Hi-Fi Mangrove City version) is exactly the kind of slo-mo and sublime balearica you can expect to hear Bager play at his Cafe Mambo residency. As does Seahawks remix of "Le Rayon Vert" on the flip which is perfect for summer island style drifting; pina colada in hand."
